Measure What You Want To Improve
Take note and keep a log of numbers for what you want to improve. When it comes to making profits, perhaps apps and software might be incredibly beneficial.
What we measure? Time spent, why we are busy in the first place in the first place? Any revenue generated due to the time incurred? Money spent. Mainly on expenses.
Business costing — what is the cost of the specific business deal and what is the profit.
Who is performing better than others? Salesperson, technician, introducer, etc.
Measuring improvement is necessary as it shows the progress of the business and magnify the particular part on where businesses should focus on in order to make their improvement meaningful. More importantly, it saves time and increase productivity of your business. Process analysis, improvement and management plays an important role to refine the performance of the organization.
Measuring business process performance are necessary because:

- Improve control over the risks that matters
- Measuring process performance detects the trends of performance
- Enhance the alignment of operations with strategy
- Gives better and faster budget decisions and control of processes within the organization which can reduce risks.
You should have a clear definition of what you want to improve within your organization. It could be the level of efficiency of the system that you build, or the reliability in any better way. This will set a clear target of what you want to achieve for your business.
